General meeting of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was held, inCity.az reports. At the beginning of event President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh greeted the participants. The head of Academy noted that, the 2014 can be considered as successful year.
He noted that the essential part of the reforms which were carried out last year were the changes made in structure of Academy according to tendencies of development of modern science and interests of our country.
For this purpose ANAS were adopted resolution on establishment of the Center of Biophysics and Smart materials, Guba Regional Scientific Centre, Institutes of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, History of Science, World Politics, Caucasiology.
The appeal of the head of state “Azerbaijan has to turn into scientific center of the region!” is also an indicator of main goals of strategic country development, added A.Alizadeh.В НАНА были приняты постановления о создании Центра биофизики и смарт-материалов, Кубинского регионального научного центра, институтов молекулярной биологии и биотехнологий, истории науки, мировой политики, кавказоведения. Как сообщает inCity.az, об этом на общем собрании Национальной Академии Наук Азербайджана (НАНА) заявил президент НАНА, академик Акиф Ализаде.
Он отметил, что существенную часть проведенных в прошлом году реформ составили изменения, произведенные в структуре Академии в соответствии с тенденциями развития современной мировой науки.
Академик А.Ализаде подчеркнул, что призыв главы государства «Азербайджан должен превратиться в научный центр региона!» также является показателем основной цели стратегического развития страны.
